USCF Permit 2008-1392 ***Day-of registration is available at the race on June 8th ***Come out and compete in the 2008 State Road Championships in Globe, Arizona! The scenic out and back state championship course travels out to Roosevelt lake, crossing the bridge at Roosevelt Dam before making the return trip to Globe. A strategic climb located 10 miles from the finish will dictate the strategy of the day. Click here for the course profile. Awards Ceremony Details: The awards ceremony will be at the Cobre Valley Country Club banquet hall at 1pm. The country club is located across the street from the start line. There will be snacks and refreshments available for all. There will also be a cash bar for those who want to celebrate after their victory.

RegistrationThere will be no mail in registration. Bikereg.com is the official online registration service of this event and Procon Cycling. There will be no processing fee for online registration.
Online registration is now closed - Race day registration is available at the IBEW (subject to $10 late fee).
Categories / FeesImportant Information Championship jerseys will given at the award ceremony to the winner of each category with 10 or more riders. No more waiting for 2 months to show off your state kit! USCF One Day Licenses: All riders must possess a USCF license. Unlicensed riders must purchase a one day racing license, for each race day, in order to race and may race as Men Cat V or as Women Cat IV only.
USCF One Day license may be purchased at the event.
IMPORTANT - Per USA Cycling rules: Championships are open only to riders who hold USACycling rider annual licenses. Refer to the USA Cycling Road Racing rulebook for details.

Parking is at the IBEW on Hwy188 1 mile North of US60 . Please carpool to the race if possible. Parking spaces are limited. Parking is not allowed on HWY 188! Additional parking will be at the Country Club.
Staging will be on Hwy 188 in front of the Local IBEW 518. The race follows an out and back course on HWY188. Category distances are defined below. The turnaround for the Men's 1, 2 race is located at mile post (MP) 259. All other categories turn around at MP 246.
Feed Zone: Feed Zone is located at MP233 for all categories. The Pro 1,2 will have an additional feed zone at MP259, which is their turn-around. Cars must park off the highway in the designated parking area.
Wheels: Wheel trucks will be wheels in/ wheels out. If sufficient wheels are present in your category, wheel support will be neutral. The official will announce at the beginning of your race if wheel support is neutral. Do not count on neutral wheel support! Please bring your spare wheels! Campy riders are recommended to bring spare wheels.
Directions:Phoenix - Take US 60 East from Phoenix 90 miles.
Tucson - Take Hwy 77 north through Oro Valley 70 miles to US 70. Turn left on US 70 and follow it 3 miles into Globe.
Flagstaff - (Through Payson) Take CR 209 to SR 87 and into Payson. Continue South out of Payson on SR 87 53 miles until Jake’s Corner and the intersection with AZ 188. Follow AZ 188 58 miles into Globe.
New Mexico - Take US 60 west into Globe.
